Sherrod Deputy, the newest consultant to the Steps Beyond team, has been providing mediation since 1996.

Sherrod is experienced in Conflict Resolution, Personal Injury, Pre-Suite Mediation, Dissolution's, Post Dissolution matters and Custody/Parenting/Time conflicts and has mediated over 150 small claims mediations. In the past she has been a litigation assistant, preparing strategic formats for both civil and criminal matters, and is also experienced in trial preparation.

Her expertise in conflict resoultion has provided practical and effective solutions for issues, that without her ability to mediate, would have led to costly litigation and serious losses for both organizations and individuals.

Sherrod has a BS in Education and did her Post Graduate Work in Counseling. She is an approved Coach/Trainer by Indiana Continuing Legal Education Forum, Family Mediation, approved by the Indiana Supreme Court 40 hours and co-founded the Victim-Witness Program for Elkhart County, Indiana in association with Elkhart County Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
